From 15 Sep to 15 Nov 2003, those who were born in 1968 or 1969 should attend a Smart ID Card Centre in person to apply for the new Smart ID cards. To save your time from queuing up at the Smart ID Card Centre and for better management of your time, you are advised to make an appointment in advance via ESDlife for the new ID card. The online service enable you to: select the Smart ID Card Centre and time slot with ease to fit your schedule make an appointment for a maximum of 4 weeks from the day of booking change/cancel appointment easily in clicks The Smart ID Card Centres open from Mon - Sat, 8:00am - 9:15pm, which means, taking a day off to replace your ID card is not necessary as you can always make an appointment for non-office hours by using the online booking service.
